It is half term and the cast is in London apart from Jess who had to do a bit of work experience abroad so we couldn't film any scenes but we took advantage of the fact that it was a nice day so went out to Hyde Park to film some scenes and it was also very successful because a bulk of our video has come from here.

Feedback session
On Friday 17th October our class had a feedback session and our teacher made us watch our other classmates video; our video was judged buy a group of four boys and they collectively evaluated our work. Our work was marked through a mark scheme which ranges from level 1 being the lowest - level 5 being the highest; it was categorised using the following table:
Apart from the table we were also given good feedback:
Good points:
1. Good use of transitions
2. A story line which makes sense
3. Smooth transitions which fits in with the theme effectively
4. The slow motion effect which was put in was highly effective and impacted the video positively but we hinted that we shouldn't over use it so that it still has the appropriate effect.
Areas to improve:
1. There are bins visible in the filming and to fix this we will be re-shooting those specific scenes.
2. Uneven camera shots were also mentioned and to fix this we will be making sure that our tripods and framing is straight.
3. The use of the same location, to fix this we will definitely be changing our location and film in Lincoln City and London.
4. There was visible red eye in our male actors eyes.
5. Our cast members kept on looking into the camera so it was obvious that we were filming and didn't have the everyday life we were looking to have.
6. More use of props.

Editing feedback 10th October 2014
Today we received feedback from our A2 classmates about our editing so far; the feedback which we received was very helpful and was both good and bad.
We were told that our shots and camera angles had very little variation and they should be switched up, location change which we had already planned to do because filming isn't complete, wonky shots so next time we film we will make sure that our framing is tight, we obviously need more footage.
We were also advised to match our heavy beats with special effects to make them seem more apparent .
We also received good feedback about how we casted our roles very well because the characters fit in well with the theme, our actors lip movement has been well placed which gave way to good lip syncing, they also said that isolation which we had included fit in well with the romantic theme which the song has.

Filming Updates #3
We were originally meant to film on Wednesday but the boys played football last period and were quite tired, so we rescheduled for Friday but that wasn’t possible as well, we later decided that we would attempt Sunday but football was on and the boys we choose were supporters of the football team.
We had decided on today 2nd period but the weather was particularly bad today so after school we decided to do some personal scenes with Tosin when we zoom into his eyes and also when he mouths a few words during the intro.
